Sexaholics Anonymous (SA) in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
About Us
There is hope and recovery.
We can’t pronounce anyone as a sexaholic. It’s up to you to self-diagnose for yourself.
Take a look and observe your own behavior. Take the "Self-Test" on this webpage.
Some of us tried some "controlled lusting." Others of us tried setting boundaries on our sexual acting out. Still others tried limiting our sex partners or the frequency of our activity. Many of us have tried repeatedly to stop.
If you wanted to stop, but you could not... you may be a sexaholic. Lust has become an addiction. Our situation is like that of the alcoholic who can no longer tolerate alcohol and must stop drinking altogether. So it is with the sexaholic, or sex drunk, who can no longer tolerate lust but cannot stop.
But there is hope. We have found that we are powerless over lust, and we have found sobriety in this daily program of spiritual recovery. By working the Twelve Steps of recovery, we have been able to stay sexually sober for years, one day at a time.
If you want what we have, we are here to help. There are 5 in-person meetings a week in Sioux Falls, and there are zoom or phone-in meeting options for anyone who isn't able to make it to an in-person meeting.
Please text, call, or email from the "contact us" link for further information.
